UP NEET PG Counseling 2026: There is important news for students awaiting admission to medical postgraduate (MD/MS) courses in Uttar Pradesh. The Directorate General of Medical Education, Uttar Pradesh, has released the schedule for the first round of counseling. Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG and want to take admission under the state quota  (50% of seats) in government or private colleges of UP can apply online starting today, October 21, 2026, by visiting the official website, upneet.gov.in.

Important Dates Related to Counseling
It is to be noted that applications for this have started today, October 21, at 2:00 PM, and the last date to apply has been fixed as October 26. Meanwhile the last date to deposit the fee and money is set from October 21 to October 26. Furthermore the merit list will be released on October 26, and candidates will get an opportunity to choose their preferred colleges until October 30. The seat allotment results will be announced on November 2.

Application Fee
The registration fee for UP NEET PG counselling has been kept at ₹3,000. This fee will not be refunded to the students. Apart from this, students will also have to deposit a security fee according to the college type.

Courses Offered for Admission
Through this counseling, seats will be allotted in postgraduate courses, like  MD, MS, diploma, and DNB in government and private medical colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh.

2. After this click on the link for UP NEET PG counselling.
3. Enter the required information and upload the requested documents.
4. Then, pay the application fee and submit the form.
5. Download and save a copy of the application and the fee receipt for future reference.
