Facial Cleansing

Apply Aloe Vera Gel
When the chickenpox wounds are completely healed, you can apply aloe vera gel to moisturize the skin. Applying this provides cooling and relief to the skin. However, before applying it to the face, definitely do a patch test on a small area of the skin.
Avoid Goint Out in the Sun
Going out in the sun makes the deep chickenpox marks appear even clearer and darker. To avoid this apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily. Additionally, use a hat or an umbrella before stepping out into the sun.
Do Not Use Things
Avoid applying lemon juice, baking soda, toothpaste, or harsh scrubs on the face. These can cause severe burning irritation on the skin and make the spots deeper. Never pull off the crusty scabs formed on the wounds with your hands. Doing so can increase the marks further.
Consult a Doctor
If deep pits have formed on the face due to chickenpox, it is difficult to remove them completely using home remedies. In such cases, a dermatologist should be consulted.
