Car Test Drive Tips: Nowadays, the craze for cars is growing rapidly across the country; whether in cities or villages, the number of cars on the roads is constantly increasing. Whenever someone buys a car, they go to the showroom and take a test drive, and companies also provide a full opportunity for this before car booking. But often people make haste during the test drive and do not pay attention to some important things, due to which they have to regret it later. If you are also going to buy a new car, take special care of these things during the test drive.

Right seating position and visibility
As soon as you sit in the car, first adjust your driving seat according to yourself and see whether your hands and legs are easily reaching the steering wheel, pedals and gear lever or not. Apart from this, definitely check whether the front bonnet,  side mirrors and the rearview mirror provide a clear view of the traffic behind or not. Also if you feel strain in your back or neck during a long drive, the car may not be the right fit for you; therefore, be sure to thoroughly evaluate the seat's cushioning and adjustability.

Suspension on bad roads
Due the test drive, the car should be driven through bad roads, otholes, or speed breakers. This will lt you know the real quality of the vehicle's suspension. If the car gives too many jolts on bad roads or stranhge noises come from inside the cabin, the suspension might be weak. Also check the vehicle's ground clearance to see whether its underbody scrapes against larger speed breakers.

Brakes and steering response
During a test drive, increase the speed and apply sudden brakes to see how quickly and balanced the car stops. Apart from this, Steering response is also very important. The steering should be light for lanes and U-turns, while at high speed on the highway, it should be a bit heavy and stable so that complete control over the car is maintained.

Engine noise and family comfort
While driving the car, pay attention to how much engine noise is coming inside the cabin. In a good car outside noise and engine rumbling should be minimal. Apart from this, be sure to ask family members about the rear legroom, headroom, seat angle, and the cooling effectiveness of the AC vents.
