BHU Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026: An excellent opportunity to get a job at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has emerged. BHU has released recruitment for various non-teaching posts such as System Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Computer Operator, Laboratory Attendant, AC Operator, and Workshop Attendant. The application process for this has started. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website to apply. The last date to apply has been fixed as November 25.

Educational Qualification
Educational qualifications have been determined according to the post. For the post of System Engineer, an M.Tech, M.E., or MCA degree from a recognized institution is mandatory. For the post of Maintenance Engineer, candidate should have a B.E. or B.Tech degree in a relevant field is required. For the position of Computer Operator, a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science with at least 55% marks is necessary.

Apart from this, for AC Operator, the candidate Should have passed ITI, for Laboratory Attendant, candidate should have passed Class 12th from a recognized institution and completed a certificate course in computer hardware. Meanwhile, for the position of Workshop Attendant, candidates must have passed Class 10 and hold an ITI certificate in a field relevant to the role.

Age Limit
As for the age limit, the maximum age limit has been set at 32, 40, and 50 years, depending on the position.

Application Fee
For Group A posts, General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹1000. For Group B and C posts, General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay a fee of ₹500. Meanwhile, the application process is completely free of cost for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD (persons with disabilities) categories.
