A group of Blinkit delivery partners has won hearts online after rescuing an injured puppy following a road accident and taking responsibility for its care. The puppy, which was reportedly in serious condition after coming under a car’s tyre, now stays at a local warehouse and even accompanies the delivery partners on their rounds.

The heartwarming story was shared on LinkedIn by Mumbai-based professional Roshan Mhatre, who discovered the unusual bond while receiving an order he had placed through the quick-commerce platform. When he noticed the delivery rider had brought a puppy along, he asked about the animal and learned how the team had come together to help it.

Delivery Partners Unite to Save the Puppy
According to Mhatre, the delivery partner told him that the puppy had been seriously injured in a road accident near their area. Rather than leaving the animal without help, the local delivery riders decided to care for it and help it recover.

Mhatre shared his experience online, explaining that the riders had taken responsibility for the puppy after learning about its condition. Their collective effort eventually gave the animal a safe place to stay.

The puppy now lives at the local warehouse, where the delivery partners look after it. It has also become a companion on some of their delivery rounds, making the everyday work routine a little more special.

Heartwarming Story Wins Hearts Online
Mhatre described the experience as deeply touching and shared a photograph of a delivery rider with the puppy sitting calmly in front of him.

The post soon attracted attention on social media, with users praising the delivery partners for showing compassion towards an injured animal. Many appreciated the fact that the riders had not only helped the puppy recover but had also continued caring for it.

One social media user said the story had restored their faith in humanity and thanked the delivery partners for looking after the puppy and taking it along on deliveries. Another playful comment suggested that the company’s name should be changed from “Blinkit” to “Bhowit” in honour of its furry companion.

The incident highlights how small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. For the delivery partners, helping the puppy may have started as a response to an emergency, but it has since turned into a shared responsibility and an unexpected friendship.
