Mumbai: Mumbai Police have reportedly launched an extensive investigation into a shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in the city’s Juhu area. Unidentified attackers allegedly fired multiple rounds at the actor’s car on Sunday evening, leaving his driver and an autorickshaw driver injured.

According to the initial account, the incident occurred near Pushpa Park at approximately 7 pm. Police officials said Tiger Shroff was safe following the shooting. His driver, identified as Firdous, reportedly sustained an injury to his left hand, while an autorickshaw driver was also hurt. Both were taken to hospital for medical attention.

In response to the incident, police reportedly deployed 15 teams to track down the suspected attackers. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage, gathering evidence and searching for clues that could help establish the motive and identify those responsible.

A video said to show the incident has gone viral on social media. Separately, a photograph circulating online appears to show injuries to the actor’s hand and chest, although these details have not been independently verified in the supplied report.

The incident has also drawn attention because of an online post allegedly claiming responsibility on behalf of a person identified as Anil Pandit, who reportedly claimed an association with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police have not yet confirmed the claim or established whether the gang had any role in the alleged attack.

A suspect has reportedly been taken into custody for questioning. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, while the motive and identities of the alleged attackers remain unconfirmed.
