Bihar Assistant Professor Recruitment Cancelled: Doctors dreaming to becoming medical teachers in Bihar have suffered a major setback. The bumper recruitment process for 1,711 Assistant Professor in state medical colleges and hospitals has been cancelled. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued an official notification in this regard, withdrawing all advertisements ranging from advertisement number 04/2025 to 28/2025.
Department Withdrew Requisition
The notice issued by the Commission stated that the requisition sent by the Health Department for recruitment has been withdrawn. Due to this very reason, the decision has been taken to cancel all the advertisements issued earlier. However, the Commission has also clarified that the process for issuing fresh advertisements is underway, pending the receipt of a revised requisition.
Posts for Which Recruitment Was to Take Place
Through this recruitment appointments of medical specialists holding MD/MS degrees were to be made in several important departments such as nesthesia, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Microbiology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Radiology, and Anatomy.
You will have to wait for the new advertisement
The revised requisition will be sent again by the Health Department. After this, the BPSC will issue a fresh advertisement. Complete information regarding the number of posts, qualifications, and new rules related to application in the new advertisements will come. As of now, the Commission has not set a date for the release of the new advertisement, so candidates will need to wait a little longer.
