Indian Automobile Leaders: India’s automobile market is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Domestic companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Maruti Suzuki sell millions of vehicles every year. These vehicles are used by everyone—from ordinary citizens to prominent businesspeople. But have you ever wondered which cars these industrialists who sell millions of cars in the country themselves prefer to travel in? Some industrialists prefer to travel only in their own company's vehicles, while some have a passion for foreign luxury and sports cars. So, let us know which industrialist travels in which car.

Anand Mahindra
Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, is a great admirer of his own company’s vehicles. In September 2024, he revealed on social media that he currently drives a red Mahindra Scorpio-N. Additionally, he occasionally uses his wife’s silver-colored XUV700. Anand Mahindra learned to drive in his mother’s light-blue Premier car. After that  he used vehicles like Mahindra CJ3 UV, Hindustan Motors Contessa, Armada, Bolero, Scorpio Classic, and XUV500. According to Anand Mahindra, since the Mahindra Armada, he has not driven a car from any other company to this day.

Late Ratan Tata
The late Ratan Tata, former chairman of the Tata Group, had a tremendous passion for cars. His garage housed everything from everyday simple cars to the worlds fastest and most expensive sports cars. His collection included the Ferrari California, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Land Rover Freelander, Honda Civic, and Tata Nexon. Additionally, he owned vintage and classic cars such as the Mercedes-Benz 500 SL, Cadillac XLR, and Mercedes-Benz W124. Many famous vehicles from his collection were displayed at the 'Autocar India Modern Classic Rally' held in February 2026.
