Hyundai Bayon Review: Seeing the massive demand for SUVs in the Indian automotive market, Hyundai has launched its new SUV, the Hyundai Bayon, into the market. This car comes in the segment above the Hyundai Venue and below the Creta. If you are looking for a vehicle that offers more space than the Venue and is more budget-friendly than the Creta, the Bayon can be a fantastic option.

Design and Size
On the road, this SUV looks quite large and robust. Measuring approximately 4.2 meters in length, the size of this car is similar to the Creta, and its ground clearance of 205 mm. Its front looks is quite futuristic featuring H-shape DRLs and projector headlights. Additionally, 17-inch alloy wheels and side cladding give it a bold look.

Features
The car's cabin features two large 12.3-inch screens that serve as a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment touchscreen. It comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, a power-adjustable driver's seat, ventilated seats, wireless charging, a Bose audio system, and a panoramic sunroof that can be opened via voice commands. The vehicle also includes advanced ADAS features and a Perplexity-powered AI voice assistant.

Engine and Mileage
The Hyundai Bayon gets a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115bhp of power.  It comes with the option of a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The automatic transmission is exceptionally smooth for driving in city traffic. In real-world driving conditions, the car delivers a fuel economy of approximately 10 to 12 km per litre.

What is the Price
The ex-showroom price of the Hyundai Bayon is between ₹10 lakh and ₹18 lakh. If your budget doesn't quite stretch to a Creta, yet you are looking to upgrade from a Venue, this vehicle could prove to be the best choice for you.
