Mahtari Vandan Yojana 33rd Installment : There is major financial relief for women in Chhattisgarh ahead of Diwali. The 33rd instalment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana will be released on Tuesday, November 3. This time, money will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of more than 67 lakh eligible women across the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the main Rajyotsav समारोह and release the instalment through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Installment To Be Released At 3 PM
The programme to release the 33rd instalment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana will begin at 3 pm on Tuesday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will transfer the amount online during the main Rajyotsav समारोह. With the instalment being released just before Diwali, beneficiary women are expected to receive financial support for festival preparations and household expenses.

Over 67 Lakh Women To Benefit
According to official information, a total of 67,40,410 women in Chhattisgarh will benefit from the scheme this time. Additionally, 6,908 women in Niyad Nellanar camp areas have also been provided the amount under the scheme's 13th instalment. The initiative focuses on extending financial assistance to women living in remote and Naxal-affected areas.

Women Receive Rs 1,000 Every Month
Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, eligible women receive financial assistance of Rs 1,000 every month. The amount is transferred directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Meanwhile, eligible women receiving pensions of less than Rs 1,000 under the Social Assistance Pension Scheme are paid the prescribed difference amount.

Financial Relief For Women Before Diwali
The release of the instalment ahead of Rajyotsav and Diwali is expected to provide relief to lakhs of families. Women can use the money for household necessities, shopping and festival-related expenses. The scheme aims to strengthen women's financial independence and increase their participation in household financial decisions.

How To Check Your Installment Status Online
Beneficiary women can check their payment status by visiting the official Mahtari Vandan Yojana website at mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in. They can also check the status through the scheme's official mobile application available on the Google Play Store. To confirm whether the amount has reached their accounts, beneficiaries can also update their bank passbooks or check their account balance through banking services.
