Giving sweets is an old tradition
Giving sweets on Diwali is an old tradition. Earlier people used to distribute homemade sweets and laddoos; later, it became common to give store-bought items like Kaju Katli, dry fruits, Sohan papdi and packaged gift boxes. Now in this same sequence, the gold-layered Asharfi has also been included. Although this sweet will not fit in everyone's budget, but for those who like expensive and different kinds of gifts, this is a great option.
