Uttar Pradesh MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh, popularly known as Raja Bhaiya, has urged members of the Hindu community to remain united while speaking about Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva. Addressing a gathering in Unnao, he said India cannot be imagined without Hindutva. He also expressed concern that people who speak about Sanatan Dharma sometimes face criticism from members of their own community. Raja Bhaiya made these remarks on Tuesday when he attended a Shiv Mahapuran Katha organised by spiritual speaker Pandit Pradeep Mishra.
Remarks on Religious Unity
Raja Bhaiya said that when someone from the Muslim community speaks about Islam, the entire community stands in support of that person. However, he claimed that when someone from the Hindu community speaks about Sanatan Dharma, some Hindus themselves begin opposing them. He said this attitude needs to change and called for greater unity within Hindu society. According to him, people should stand together when matters related to their religion and traditions are discussed.
India and Hindutva
During his address, Raja Bhaiya said, "India cannot be imagined without Hindutva." He further stated that India would continue to remain a constitutional nation as long as Hindus remain in the majority. His remarks brought religion, identity and the country's constitutional character into the discussion. The Kunda MLA also emphasised the importance of Hindu unity while speaking before devotees attending the religious event.
Manoj Tiwari Also Attends
The Shiv Mahapuran Katha in Unnao was attended by several prominent personalities. Delhi BJP MP and Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari was also present alongside Pandit Pradeep Mishra. Tiwari presented devotional songs during the programme, adding to the religious atmosphere. A large number of devotees gathered to listen to the Katha. Raja Bhaiya's remarks during the event also attracted attention because of his comments on Hindutva and unity within Hindu society.
Ram Katha Planned in Kunda
Another major religious programme is being planned at Raja Bhaiya's Benti Palace in Kunda, Pratapgarh. A three-day Ram Katha by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham, is scheduled for November 17, 18 and 19. Preparations for the event are underway, and Raja Bhaiya has been personally inviting people to attend. During his visit to the Unnao programme, he also extended an invitation to devotees for the upcoming Ram Katha.
Invitation to Devotees
The upcoming Ram Katha is expected to draw devotees from Kunda and nearby areas. Raja Bhaiya has been distributing invitations and encouraging people to participate in the three-day religious gathering. His presence at the Unnao Shiv Mahapuran Katha and his invitation for the Kunda programme have brought both events into focus. The Ram Katha will be held at Benti Palace from November 17 to 19, with Dhirendra Krishna Shastri delivering the religious discourse.
