RITES Recruitment 2026: RITES Limited, a company under the Ministry of Railways, has announced recruitment for the position of Assistant Manager (Mechanical). A total of 27 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. The application process has already begun. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official RITES website. It is to be noted that a total of 27 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. This includes 14 posts for Assistant Manager (Mechanical 1), 10 posts for Assistant Manager (Mechanical 2), and 3 posts for Assistant Manager (Mechanical 3).
Required qualification
For diploma holders, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with 8 years of work experience is required. For BE/B.Tech degree holders, a degree in Mechanical Engineering along with 2 years of work experience is required. It should be noted that candidates with experience in steel plants, or in the rolling, forging, or casting industries, will be given preference.
Age limit
Talking about the age limit, the age of general category candidates has been fixed from 18 and 40 years. Age will be calculated as of November 20, 2026. IAs per rules, relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to candidates coming from reserved categories.
Application fee
General and OBC categories Candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹600, while female candidates will also have to pay a fee of ₹600. Meanwhile, candidates from the SC, ST, and EWS categories will be required to pay an application fee of ₹300.
