Kasganj: Three members of the same family died after being struck by lightning while working in a field in Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj district on Thursday. The incident occurred in the Sahawar police station area, leaving the village in mourning.

Lightning Strikes While Family Members Work in Field
According to the information available, Ramwati, her daughter Kashish and Ramwati’s brother-in-law Neeraj were working in a field in Nagla Madhav village when lightning struck them. All three were caught in the incident. The victims were identified as Ramwati, 36, her daughter Kashish, 11, and Neeraj, 35.

Doctors Declare All Three Dead
Following the incident, family members rushed the three victims to the district hospital in critical condition. However, doctors examined them and declared all three dead. News of the tragedy spread through the village, prompting relatives and local residents to gather at the hospital.

The officer in charge of the district hospital police outpost also made inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
